I've already run for dear life straight to the arms of God. So why would I run away now when you say, "Run to the mountains..."? God hasn't moved to the mountains; His holy address hasn't changed. He's in charge as always. Psalm 11:1,4
After 26 years as an elementary school teacher I started taking watercolor classes. Art has taught me much about color and design and to appreciate everything I see in a new way. It reminds me of how uniquely we have been created when I look at the paintings in my classes and see how each one shows the personality of the painter. I love bright colors and find that I can make my prints even brighter using the Corel6 program on my computer.
My camera, computer and printer have been an asset in adding to the fun and creativity of my art.
Some of my favorite reading is from "THE MESSAGE", the Bible in contemporary language by
Eugene Peterson, published by NAV PRESS . I have discovered ways to share these inspiring words with my watercolors in books, cards and calendars, jewelry and decorative cloth bags.
